Copper Basin Advisory Committee
The Copper Basin AC has a total of 15 seats, comprised of 2 undesignated seats and 13 designated seats from the following communities: Glennallen (2), Lake Louise (1), Tazlina (3), Copper Center (2), Gakona/Gulkana (3), Kenny Lake (1), and Chitina (1). This committee meets 1–2 times per year. They primarily focus on hunting and trapping issues, but also discuss sport, subsistence and personal use fisheries. Areas of jurisdiction for the Copper Basin AC are Units 6, 11, and 13; and Yakutat–Yakataga, Prince William Sound–Lower Copper River and Upper Copper River area fisheries.
