Lower Kobuk Advisory Committee
The Lower Kobuk AC has 11 seats, of which nine are designated for Noorvik (3), Kiana (3), and Selawik (3). The Lower Kobuk AC meets twice annually, and periodically as needed with the Kotzebue Sound AC and the Upper Kobuk AC. Issues include sheefish research on the Selawik and Kobuk rivers, caribou migration, and predation on moose and caribou. The Lower Kobuk AC has jurisdiction over GMU 23 and Kotzebue Sound Area finfish.
