Middle Yukon River Advisory Committee
The Middle Yukon Advisory Committee represents the communities of Galena, Koyukuk, Nulato, and Kaltag. There are four designated seats for Galena, two designated seats for Koyukuk, three designated seats for Nulato and four designated seats for Kaltag, for a total of 13 seats. These communities are located in Game Management Unit (GMU) 21D. The area of jurisdiction identified in 5 AAC 97.005 is GMU 21. The area of jurisdiction for finfish is the Upper Yukon River. The Middle Yukon Advisory Committee is an active committee that that holds up to two meetings a year focusing on local game, trapping, and fishing issues on the state and federal levels.
