A fisher approaches a "hair trap" designed to snag some hair and fur, which will provide a DNA sample. Researcher Caitlin Kupferman is studying fisher in Southeast Alaska in 2018 and 2019, documenting their colonization in coastal areas of northern Southeast Alaska in the Juneau area.
