Hunters are encouraged to take male goats. Nannies with kids are protected and can not be legally harvested.
Successful hunters are encouraged to bring the head and horns of their harvested goat to the Kodiak ADF&G office for measurement and data collection.
A map of the permit areas will be on display at ADF&G offices in Anchorage and Kodiak.
