Successful Hunters
- Report in person or by phone 907-424-3215 within 3 days of the kill to the Cordova ADF&G office. Inreach Samantha.Renner@alaska.gov & confirm received.
- Specimens Required: Please bring antlers naturally attached to the skull plate, and the front 4 inches of the lower jaw into the Cordova ADF&G office to measure, sample, and extract a tooth.

Hunting Conditions
WHEN:
Sep 1-Oct 31. Hunt areas will be closed by emergency order when quotas are reached. Call ADFG at (907) 424-3215 to inquire about the quota before hunting.

BAG LIMIT:
One (1) bull moose for Alaska residents only
REQUIREMENTS:
No motorized vehicles may be used for moose hunting, including the transportation of moose hunters or moose hunting gear from Aug 25-Sep 4 with the exception of highway vehicles on Copper River Highway, Clear Creek Access Road, Carbon Mountain Road, and vessels crossing (ferry/transfer vessels) at mile 36 bridge (wash-out) which can be conducted in a substantially straight line and no more than ¼ mile above or below the bridge. Moose may not be taken until 3:00 am following the day on which a motorized vehicle other than a highway vehicle is used for transportation from Sep 5- Oct 31. All airboats must display two plainly visible and unobscured ADF&G identification numbers on the outboard surfaces of the rudder(s) within one inch of the rudder top.

REPORTING:
ALL PERMITTEES must submit their report. a) SUCCESSFUL hunters must report to the Cordova ADFG office by phone at (907) 424-3215 ASAP, then return their completed report in person to the Cordova ADF&G office within 3 days of kill. Successful reporting includes all details of the hunt report card. Partial reports are invalid. b) UNSUCCESSFUL hunters or those who DID NOT HUNT must report to the Cordova ADF&G office by mail, in person, or online within 15 days of the close of the season whether by regulation or emergency order.
PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT:
If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (drawing, Tier II, and registration) during the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.
SIGNATURE:
You must sign you permit and comply with the permit hunt conditions and any additional restrictions found in the Alaska Hunting Regulations. You must carry your signed permit while hunting or transporting moose within the registration permit area and you must show it to any person authorized to enforce state or federal laws who requests to see it.
