Hunting Conditions

RM 583

1) Season Dates: Aug. 20 - Sept. 15

2) Open Areas: Subunits 17B & 17C

3) Bag Limit: One (1) Bull moose

4) Reporting:
-Successful hunters must report online, by mail or in person or by phone to Dillingham (907-842-2334) within 5 days of kill.
-Unsuccessful hunters and those who did not hunt must report online, by mail or in person to Dillingham within 15 days of close of season.

5) Remember
-You may kill only one (1) moose per regulatory year.
-You must carry your permit with you while you are hunting.

6) PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT:
If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (Draw, Tier II, or Registration, including Tier I Nelchina caribou) during the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.
