Wildlife Conservation seeks Hunting Photos
For 2006 Hunting Regulations
There is such diversity in Alaska, in our hunters and in their methods of take, and Alaskans hunt so many different species -- and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game would like to reflect that in our regulations books. We would like to see photos of hunters from all regions of the state. We’d like to see youth and women hunters, those who hunt with muzzleloaders, and everything in between. And while we enjoy photos of hunters and their game, we are also looking for photos that show good examples of things like a clean camp, proper meat care, and transporting game from the field.
To submit photos for the regulations committee review, please e-mail them along with a daytime contact number. Also provide a brief description of the photo and the name of anyone shown in the picture. If your photos are not digital, or if you want to put them on a CD, please send them to the address below. Photos can’t be returned, so please send a reprint, not your treasured original. Photos should be submitted by Feb. 1 to be considered for the upcoming regulation book.
If your photo is selected, we will contact you for written permission before publication. Meanwhile, dust off your photo albums, check your computer images, and mention this message to all your hunting friends.
