eLogbook and Kodiak Area Sport Fish Management Preseason Meeting, April 30 7 p.m.

(Kodiak) – Several important changes are in place for the 2025 sport fishing season with the requirement for saltwater guides to use eLogbook becoming mandatory and new management measures in place for anglers fishing the Kodiak Management Area for king salmon and rockfish. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will be hosting a preseason meeting to discuss these topics and answer questions. The meeting is open to the public but will primarily be focused on topics related to saltwater guides and charter boats. Staff from the ADF&G Kodiak Sport Fish office and the Logbook Program office will be available in person to present information related to the requirements for eLogbook and 2025 sport fishery management actions. Additionally, Alaska Wildlife Troopers will be available for questions related to enforcement.
