Comments: Observers 9/5/2024: Skylar O'Neil, Hydrology Technician and Adam Grunwald, Fish Biologist Observer 9/9/2024: Derek Kuda, Fish Biologist Stream 102-70-10800, Barren Creek which is located on the north side of Sandy Beach on Prince of Wales Island. Visual Ground Observations were documented at two nearby locations upstream of the bridge on FS RD 3000 MP 23.95. On 9/5, two adult pink salmon were observed hanging out in the calmer waters out of the main channel high water levels. On 9/9, several pink salmon were actively digging redds just above tidal influence. The first two pools with spawning pink salmon had 12 individuals.
