During the last 10 days we have received locations for 4 bearded seals, 2 ringed seals, and 9 spotted seals. One bearded seal, BS16-05-F (red square), is located in the Beaufort Sea, along the coastline of northern Alaska, between Barrow and Kaktovik. Two spotted seals, SS16-01-F (orange circle) and SS16-05-M (blue circle), are located in Chukchi Sea. The remaining seals are south of the Bering Strait and range, east to west, from Norton Sound to Anadyr Gulf, and south to the southeast Bering Sea, near Scammon Bay and Nunivak Island.
