Ice Seal Tracking Maps Archive

During the last ten days we have received locations from the 8 bearded (dashed line) seals tagged in the Norton Sound region during August. Three seals are located in Norton Sound and one has moved into the Koyuk River. The other four seals have left Norton Sound and have moved either into the Chukchi Sea, to the Russian coast near Lorino, or into the southeastern Bering Sea.
